INTRODUCTION
Just another lovely day in Florida. The sun is shining, the birds are out and chirping. My name is Acer. I have short brown hair, wearing a NASCAR shirt with it saying “Daytona Speedway. Feel the force.” I have short, navy blue pants, and i’m 5’7 in height, and i’m 16 years of age. Now lets start from the beginning.
Chapter 1: MOVING
“Honey! Pack your things! We’re moving!” My mom yelled. Ugh. This was exactly what i wasn’t hoping she’d say. I should’ve just ran away, but i immediately erased that thought, and thought about my happy place. “Son! C’mon! We don’t have all day!” My dad yelled, with a little bit of shiver in his voice. I started packing my things. “Need this, Not that, hmmm….. old, i guess….” It was really frustrating. Try picturing being in a room with 50 rooms around you. Only one is correct. Thats what it felt like packing my stuff.
As we all got in the car, i started thinking to myself. What about school? I hope they won’t pick on me. I got in the car, with my brother, Mason, sitting shotgun. He annoys me so much. “Honey, we should go that way.” My mom said. “No, i know where to go. Trust me.” My dad said. You probably know whats gonna happen next. i Then remembered a book i packed. It was called “The Forgotten”. I had no clue what it meant. But i just randomly opened a page and it said: Darkness surrounds you, Dont go to sleep. Become one of them, and then you’ll hear the beep . That sent a chill down my spine. Then i suddenly wondered:
Darkness forever……
CHAPTER 2: The New Location
We arrived in the beautiful town of Winter Haven. It was a nice place, with all the trees, and the birds chirping, and what got my full attention was the house. It had a nice brownish tan color, with a nice door frame. It was a 2 car garage, and it was 3 stories. The house was a mansion, and they just put in the new section. So what if my parents were rich? It had an indoor pool, and my room was as big as my old house itself. It was amazing, because i had a clear view of the wilderness. Just then i caught the scent of freshly baked…. pancakes? It was 3:00 in the afternoon! Oh well, nothing like a late breakfast. On my way down the stairs, the living room had a humongous, movie theater type T.V. The kitchen had your normal housing supplies, but the table, was HUGE. So as we sat down in our comfy chairs, we ate the pancakes. Just as i ate my last one, i heard a bark. Did i mention we have a dog?
CHAPTER 3: The Mystery
“Arf!” Raver barked. As he trotted in, he was trailing mud. “Raver! Were you playing in the mud again?” I asked. He put his tail down. I think that meant yes, even though it was clearly obvious. “Acer! is that dog trailing mud in the house again?!” my mom yelled. “No!” I yelled back. “Well, give that dog a bath!” she yelled again. I didn’t answer back, and gave Raver a bath. Afterwards, i noticed a book on the counter. It said, “The Forgotten, Secrets and Mysteries”. I stared at it curiously. Should i read it? Should i leave it? I decided not to take it. I left it where it was, hoping that it was either mom’s or dad’s. But the next day, curiosity got the best of me. I opened the book, and immediately regretted it. The first page had a deadly message written on it. Three letters- D-I-E. Whoever, or Whatever put this book here i did not want to meet. For some reason, i just felt i knew them. So my Mom told me to go to the store.

Nice story! I like it
